Boo!

It was truly a special evening as we sat and reminisced on an endless list of stories to write about moments with Bob. We laughed, cried, shook our heads, and smiled ear to ear. One moment that had the lot of us bellow laughing was on our road trip back from the Colorado River in the bus chalked full of gear. It was late, and dark, somewhere between Idaho and the US border. Bob the champ and night hawk that he was, was driving the bus, the rest of us were dozing off in the back, and Thereasa was upfront standing next to Bob. We pulled up to a red light. I can just remember the red glow on Bob’s face and everyone zoned out and relishing in the silence, minus the rumbling of the bus engine of course. Then out of nowhere, Bob let out this high pitched, blood-curdling scream! I swear Thereasa flew across the bus and down the stairwell! Once we saw Bob’s mischievous grin and quickly realized that nothing was in fact wrong we all burst out laughing! It was a testimate to his mischievous, hilarious ways but also his testimate to never grow old. He taught us all the importance of letting that little child inside out every once in a while.
