The first Ranger exercice I went on with Bob was Primrose Lake. We battled our way up the river, open in many spots, dragging machines around rocks and shovelling in holes so we could get to the lake. We came to the lake and the river was open preventing us from reaching the objective. Bob looked across the river and said “Why don’t I wade across the river with a chainsaw and a rope. I’ll cut some trees and you can haul them across with the rope. We’ll make a bridge” Yesss! Bob waded and cut and we made “BOB’S BRIDGE” and had a great afternoon on the lake.
