In my memories I got to know Bob in 1993 at the Tat, where we camped at the parking spot to run the upper Tat in hard-shell canoes, to train for the long trip to dry bay.
Bob was there to help me out with lots of info!
From 1995 to 2002 I did so many trips to the Yukon, I can’t remember. Between the long trips I always spent time in Tat camp and I remember so many wild parties.
These parties and midnight runs I will never forget. Times where Bob, Shaun, Andy Hyde, Jeff, Derrick and Theresa
Then I always remember the wild Tutshi river runs with a lot of swims.
1997 -1998 I was riding my horses for 7 months in Patagonia. In February I accompanied Bob on his Chile trip. This was a great 2-week trip.
After some years in Mongolia, I came back to the Yukon with my family from 2012 till now.
I remember so many good evenings and adventures in the last years.
Europe was definitely a great highlight too. But it’s all the Yukon adventures and barbecues I will always remember.
Definitely, the long-term friendship with Bob was special for me.
Knowing Bob for so many years, this is my highlight.
